Tri Fitness Endurance Camp
Friday through Sunday, July 12th-14th, 2019 / Madison, WI
A multi sport endurance event is one of the toughest one day challenges you will ever face. You are putting in the training to get ready for this life changing event. Now bring it home with our weekend camp. Take advantage of our coaches' expertise in multi sport endurance events. Utilize the characteristics of the IMWI course to prepare you for your endurance event.
The goal of this camp is to provide excellent training, coaching, and education using the IMWI course as a back drop to this fully supported camp. The camp is designed to be inviting, educational, motivating, effective, and fun. It is geared for athletes of all levels and abilities.
Our camp is an unique experience. All training sessions will be fully supported with coaches right on the course to give training advice and to answer your questions. You will receive coaching right on the course! You will also be able to utilize what you learned in the evening seminars on the various courses.
You will swim in Lake Monona with our awesome swim coach. They will help you learn how to best begin your triathlon swim for a mass or wave start, and will aide you with sighting and swimming within large groups of people.
You will bike through rolling farmlands and tackle the big hills on the IMWI bike course. Our coaches will be biking along side giving you coaching advice right on the course. We will also have rest stops along the course to provide you with rest and water as needed.
You will run through the city of Madison to get a feel for what it is like to run post swim and bike. Our coaches will be out there helping you know how to best run the flats and hills of the course. We will also have a rest stop to provide water and coaching advice.
In the evenings you will enjoy a meal with your fellow participants and the coaches. After some socialization we will have seminars to help guide you through your endurance event. The seminars will include nutrition and mental prep information for endurance events.
Our camp is jam packed with training, education, motivation, and socialization. You will walk away being better prepared for your event. You have sacrificed time with your family, friends, and work. Be sure you are truly ready by joining us at our endurance camp.
You'll be guided and trained by Ironman finisher and Tri Fitness founder Vicki Ostendorf, as well as other experienced coaches from Tri Fitness!

Friday - Meet at 12:00pm in Verona
Ride one loop of the course (fully supported ride)
Return to hotel
6:30pm dinner and seminars
Seminars to include:
How to approach an IM/70.3 mass swim
Pre-race/race day nutrition
How to tackle IMWI bike course
8:00am meet at Lake Monona for a 1 hour swim (with coaches and kayaks)
Take IMWI bike route to Verona, ride 1 loop and back to Monona terrace for a short run (fully supported ride)
5:30pm dinner and seminars

Open water swim in Lake Monona with kayak support
90 minute run following IMWI course
Sunday 1 pm - Wrap up meeting and departure.
